ACS / Montz Woven Wire Packing

Montz-Pak Type A-3 Special woven wire gauze packing is well suited for thermally unstable materials requiring high efficiency at high vacuum. 

High Efficiency woven wire packing was originally introduced to the industry under the product name BX packing by Sulzer Chemtech.  Today, ACS manufactures three styles of similar packing in primarily 316L SS metal alloy for quick replacement made from stock materials or special order alloys such as Hastelloy C276 for upgrade process applications. These styles include ACS/Montz A3-500. ACS/Montz A3-500M. This is a high performance curved crimp product for improved liquid transfer between packing bed layers. ACS/Montz A3-500MN. This is an extreme high performance double curved packing. Woven mesh packing are used in relatively clean processes found in pharmaceutical, chemical plants, or specialty petrochemical plant processes.

ACS/Montz structured and random packings were featured in the January 2006 issue of Hydrocarbon Processing Magazine for column upgrades, replacement in kind, and debottlenecking applications.
