ACS Chevron Vanes

ACS produces high capacity chevron vane type mist eliminators for free water droplet removal from vapor streams up to 99% removal of droplets 8 micron and larger.  

ACS vanes are rugged in construction and suitable for severe services which may include high vapor velocity, high vibration, high temperature, high corrosion, or particulate fouling.  Engineered vane units commonly replace original mesh type mist eliminators when one of the following conditions occurs:

  • Capacity of conventional mesh pad is exceeded
  • Short service life and increased pressure drop due to mesh fouling
  • Excessive corrosion of mesh wire occurs

Based on your application and process conditions, ACS will assist you in your mist elimination equipment selection and individually engineer the performance of your replacement or upgrade vane mist elimination system.  ACS vane units are available in 4 standard blade configurations, but specialty designs are available by special request for any non-patented replacement in kind requirement.

ACS offers high performance, reduced blade spacing vane style units to remove smaller micron size droplets and particulates.

ACS Extreme Performance & Patented Multi-Pocket® Vane

ACS offers the one of the industry's most effective specialty vane designs for high velocity and small droplet removal.  The ACS patented design exceeds most hooked vane performance and is constructed with no internal welding or tight radius bending for extended corrosion service life.

ACS Low Fouling V1 Plate-Pak™ Vane

ACS offers replacement-in-kind three pass and other extended spacing style vanes for dirty service applications where fouling and/or pressure drop are major concerns.
