When liquid or mixed phase inlet velocities exceed laminar flow ranges, specialty inlet diffusers are needed to ensure the other process internals are allowed to work properly and efficiently. ACS offers a complete line of multi-beam gas injected supports for random packed beds, and the traditional grating support styles for structured packed beds. ACS also offers the associated bed limiters with traditional expanded metal grating to hold random packing in place during startup and during slight column upsets.
