Chimney Trays

ACS/Montz offer several types of Chimney trays for side draw and feed blending, often with provision for flash feeding.

Flash-boxes are always installed at a column feeding point when the inlet is overheated. Flash vapor may occur after entrance into the column, which can affect the proper functioning of the liquid distributor.

Liquid collector trays are arranged between two packing bed sections in a tower. The liquid trickling down is collected by the liquid collector tray and from here it can be returned to a liquid distributor or in the area of the liquid collector tray it is also possible to install liquid/vapor feeds or liquid/vapor draw offs.
