Liquid Liquid Coalescers

Liquid Liquid Coalescers

ACS is one the leading technology pioneers and process equipment provider for liquid liquid separation applications.  Removal of hydrocarbons from water or chemical mixtures from water can be addressed for most applications.

ACS utilizes advanced scientific formulas and empirical droplet size distribution data to size appropriate coalescing equipment layout and liquid separation element design.  On difficult applications that often include high fouling and/or high purity requirements, ACS configures small scale pilot and lab testing units.  The test unit operates at various conditions on actual process liquid to accurately verify coalescing and removal performance at all desired oprating ranges, before the full scale vessel fabrication and installation.

The ACS coalescer pilot testing program greatly reduces potential risk presented by unknown liquid and solid trace components often included in the actual process stream, and verifies separation purity performance ranges at various operating rates.

Interceptor-Pak™ Coalescers

Interceptor-Pak® CoalescersACS highest purity and highest surface area per volume materials designed and manufactured from unique wire mesh, co-knitted mesh, and special fibers to coalesce and separate liquids. Media can be designed for removal performance down to 5ppm.  Often used as a second or third polishing stage when particulates are present and could present media fouling issues.

Stokes-Pak™ Coalescers

Stokes-Pak® CoalescersACS industrial coalescing media manufactured from specialty metal foil elements.  Media can be designed for removal performance down to 25ppm.  Often used as first or second stage when particulates are present.  Media is fairly low fouling.

Plate-Pak™ Coalescers

Plate-Pak® CoalescersACS refinery and upstream oil production coalescing media manufactured from thicker metal elements that are resistant to corrosion and errosion.  Media can be designed for removal perfomance down to 50ppm.  Often used as a stand alone element or as the first coalescing stage to handle particualtes and light solids such as sand, sulphur, and wax.  Media is very low fouling and may be steamed, hydroblasted, and reused for many multi-year service cycles.
